This Privacy Policy explains how Momentum Personal Advising (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit momentumlr.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Analytics Data

We use third-party analytics software to understand how visitors use the Site. This software automatically collects certain information when you visit, including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website or search query that brought you to the Site
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Approximate geographic location (country and region, derived from IP address)
  • IP address (which may be anonymized depending on your browser settings)

This information is collected in aggregate and is used solely to improve the Site. We do not use analytics data to identify individual visitors.

Booking and Scheduling

When you book an Exploratory Meeting, you are directed to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. Any information you provide during the booking process (name, email address, and any pre-meeting notes) is collected and stored by Calendly under their own privacy policy. We receive only the details necessary to prepare for your meeting.

Direct Contact

If you contact us by email or phone, we receive and store the information you provide in that communication, including your name, contact details, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate and improve the Site
  • Understand how visitors find and navigate the Site
  • Respond to inquiries and prepare for scheduled meetings
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies placed by our analytics software. These cookies help us understand traffic patterns and visitor behavior in aggregate.

  • Calendly — appointment scheduling (calendly.com/privacy)
  • Google Fonts — typeface delivery via Google’s CDN (policies.google.com/privacy)

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

5. Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third-party tools that help us operate the Site (such as analytics and scheduling), who are contractually bound to use data only on our behalf.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business transfer: In the unlikely event of a sale or transfer of our business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of our analytics provider, typically 14 months. Contact and scheduling information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to conduct business and meet legal obligations, and is deleted upon request.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at david@momentumlr.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information collected through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
