Originally from Philadelphia, David earned a degree in Political Science from Temple University before completing a Master’s degree in International Political Economy at the University of Pittsburgh. That academic foundation — centered on systems, structures, and how human dynamics shape real-world outcomes — informs the way he approaches every client engagement.
David began his career in the business world, starting his marketing career at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, supporting entrepreneurs through the Small Business Development Center. He went on to direct marketing efforts in the non-profit sector and worked as an Account Manager at an interactive marketing firm, where he developed hands-on experience managing client relationships under commercial pressure. His work gave him a clear-eyed understanding of the decisions, pressures, and internal obstacles that professionals and leaders face at every stage of a career.
In 2011, David became a licensed certified social worker and built a thriving counseling practice. Over time, his work evolved toward a specific kind of client: accomplished, capable, high-functioning people who were not in crisis — but who were stuck. People who needed more than a listening ear. They needed a structured process, an honest partner, and a plan.
That recognition is what led to Momentum Personal Advising.

David has lived in Little Rock for the past 20 years. He and his spouse are raising three teenagers. Outside of his professional work, he places a high value on family life — and that grounding shows up in his work. The challenges his clients face are not abstractions to him.
